Rio Grande Cancer Foundation

The Rio Grande Cancer Foundation provides help and hope to cancer patients and their family members through advocacy, education and financial assistance. We are committed to disease prevention education and awareness through outreach programs, classroom activities such as yoga and nutrition and numerous monthly campaigns addressing all the “colors” of cancer.

We host a daily blog of valuable tips for healthy living, (www.good2knowelpaso.org) a weekly newsletter directed at those currently receiving treatment as well as survivors, and we host support groups for cancer patients and their families.

Through our online Patient Portal, we provide educational resources and a toolkit to assist those with a cancer diagnosis.

Our Four Seasons Beauty Program assists women (and men) experiencing side effects from cancer treatment and therapy by offering wigs, hats, scarves and mastectomy garments at no charge and provide assistance with lymphedema sleeves and gloves.

The Rio Grande Cancer Foundation hosts annual events such as The Pink Boutique for breast cancer survivors, and Give Cancer the Boot, a celebration organized for national Cancer Survivor Day.
